The Somnomed Avant uses unique nylon straps to help gradually march the mandible forward until the target position is reached.
Somnomed Herbst Advance
One of the most comfortable Herbst devices on the market, the Somnomed Herbst Advance appliance allows for both lateral and vertical movement of the jaw. It’s an excellent option for the treatment of snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, and teeth grinding. It is the only Herbst design on the market with a ruler on the side so that patients can see how far they have advanced.
SomnoDent Flex
Made with SomnoDent’s proprietary SMH BFlex material that discourages delamination and the development of odors, the Flex’s soft internal liner provides exceptional comfort and relief for patients needing relief from sleep apnea. The device requires minimal adjustment and is suitable for patients with short teeth and crown or bridge work.
SomnoDent Fusion
The Fusion is made from SomnoDent’s unique SMH BFlex material and is designed to maximize patient comfort and relief. The device also has replaceable wings that allow for customizable jaw advancement to ensure patients receive uncompromised treatment of their obstructive sleep apnea.

Panthera D-SAD Appliance
Constructed from biocompatible nylon, the Panthera D-SAD is FDA-approved to treat snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea. Due to the need for maximum retention, this device is best for patients who have specific anatomical characteristics of the mouth. Our specialists can help determine if it is right for you.
The OASYS Oral/Nasal Airway System
The OASYS Oral/Nasal Airway System is a unique device that treats sleep apnea and/or snoring by relieving breathing problems that originate in both the nose and throat. Equipped with a nasal dilator and jaw repositioning technology, this appliance is sure to restore your sleep quality. The OASYS Oral/Nasal Airway System is also great for patients who wear an upper denture.
Thornton Adjustable Positioner (TAP®)
As a trusted standard in oral appliances, the Thornton Adjustable Positioner (TAP®) is custom-fit and fully adjustable by the patient to maximize comfort and relief from symptoms of sleep apnea and snoring. It has stood the test of time, and along with the Herbst devices, is an option for our Medicare population.
The SUAD
Made by SomnoMed, the SUAD’s design makes it less restrictive than other appliances, allowing the patient to open and close their mouth, speak, yawn, drink water, and take medication without removing the device. It’s the trifecta of comfort, optimal fit, and effectiveness. It also is the strongest offering from SomnoMed, so its use in significant grinders is helpful.
Elastic Mandibular Advancement (EMA) Appliance
The Elastic Mandibular Advancement (EMA) Appliance is great for patients with a larger-than-normal tongue that are looking for relief from symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea and/or primary snoring.
The Moses®
The Moses® appliance’s unique design not only moves the jaw forward but also encourages the tongue to rest in the front of the mouth, preventing airway blockage during sleep. It is also an excellent option for patients who have upper front teeth that are either missing or unhealthy.
SILENT NITE®
The Silent Nite® has a flexible and thin design that is perfect for providing relief to those experiencing severe, disruptive snoring and/or mild obstructive sleep apnea. The appliance allows for limited jaw movement and unrestricted breathing through the mouth. The limited warranty on this device makes it an acceptable temporary device.
AveoTSD
Made from soft silicone to maximize comfort, the AveoTSD is ideal for persistent snorers and those with sleep apnea. This appliance uses gentle suction to hold the tongue forward in the mouth, clearing the airway during sleep. Unlike other appliances, the AveoTSD does not attach to the teeth but may produce a sore or fatigued tongue. It is the device of choice with patients who are currently undergoing orthodontic treatment.
